The real estate industry has seen a number of social media innovations over the past few years. Real estate pros are using social media to provide online property tours, schedule showings and showcase local expertise.

Of particular interest to us of course is the section relating to the use of video and YouTube in real estate marketing.

The statistics are a little surprising:

  • Less than 10% of Real Estate Agents sell using HD video
  • Only 12% of Real Estate Agents have YouTube accounts
  • 73% of sellers say their first choice to sell their property is an agent who offers video marhketing
